Windows with Satina or Satinlite Louvre Blades
Satina or Satinlite glass are obscure in appearance, designed to provide privacy while also letting in daylight when closed. They are most commonly installed into bathrooms so they can remain open to let out built-up steam while occupants can use the space without the worry of unwanted prying eyes.
In order to tell the difference between Satina and Satinlite glass, one surface of Satinlite glass has small, closely spaced grooves in a cross hatched pattern. Up close, Satinlite glass has a very slightly rough appearance, but it offers good resistance to fingerprints. Satina glass on the other hand has one surface acid etched, giving it a very smooth, attractive finish.
